To determine the acidity (pH value) in fertigation, irrigation and spray water. This device is compact, easy to use, but sensitive. With the control of the acidity of the water, the fertigation schedules can be checked whether there is sufficient acidification. Especially with water that has a varying bicarbonate content, this is useful to set the acid amount slightly higher or lower without having to analyze the water every time. In the spray water it is important for some applications that the pH is not too high (think of spraying with GA or Amid-thin). Especially with complex mixes it is difficult to predict the pH and an extra check is then easy.
